Aloha and welcome to Howeaii – a blog devoted to the islands and beyond. In my former life as a a full-time journalist, I edited and wrote news and feature stories for The Honolulu Advertiser (summer internship!), The Ann Arbor News, The San Francisco Examiner, The Pacific Daily News, Pika magazine, Loudoun Magazine and Loudoun Business.

I transitioned into a new career in marketing, which I love, but the writing bug still has hold of me so now I write for my own slice of paradise, Howeaii.
